Description
Published in 1883, Treasure Island is considered a perennial children’s classic. It is the story of a boy called Jim Hawkins who gains possession of a treasure map and sets off on a dangerous sea-journey across the Spanish Main. The adventures of Jim, his encounters with pirates, especially the evil Long John Silver and his fierce search for lost treasure, make this one of the most thrilling coming-of-age adventure novels ever written.
